The Senior Backend Engineer will work with data at scale, build powerful API integrations, and optimize backend services for performance and scalability.
Responsibilities include developing new data integrations, enhancing the analytics engine, ensuring scalable solutions, solving complex technical issues, owning features from concept to production, and collaborating closely with the team.

Requirements:

Candidates must be experienced backend engineers with a strong background in working with large datasets, API integrations, and complex backend systems.
A proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex problems is essential.
Experience in optimizing performance, managing data flows, and maintaining system stability is required.
Candidates should be adaptable and resilient, capable of making impactful changes in a large and complex codebase.
Strong verbal communication skills are necessary to articulate technical concepts clearly in a remote team environment.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $175,000 to $200,000 CAD per year, along with options, a health spending account, and four weeks of vacation.
