The role of Senior Backend Engineer focuses on building scalable, efficient, and reliable backend services to support EveryWatch’s growing platform and user base.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust APIs, processing large volumes of watch-related data, integrating with third-party services, and ensuring high system performance and security.
The Senior Backend Engineer will shape the backend infrastructure and guide best practices within the team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET (preferably .NET Core).
Proven experience in building scalable APIs and distributed backend systems is required.
A strong understanding of database design, optimization, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases is necessary.
Experience with asynchronous processing, micro-services, and event-driven architectures is essential.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Candidates should have cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including deploying and scaling backend services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues are necessary.
A strong ability to lead a team and strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
