Remote Senior Backend Engineer

Description:

• You will be working with a diverse team composed of talented Engineers immersed in the area of private investment banking.
• The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using C#, SQL, Python, and other relevant technologies.
• You will implement and manage AWS serverless architecture to ensure scalability and performance.
• The position requires utilizing CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Terraform to automate and streamline development processes.
• You will develop and maintain front-end applications using JavaScript, React, and Angular.
• Adhering to and advocating for software development best practices, principles, and architectural standards is essential.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex technology projects on time and within budget.
• Mentoring and guiding junior software engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team, is part of the role.
• Effective communication with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide regular updates is necessary.
• You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of software applications.
• You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
• Expertise in C# is essential for this position.
• Proficiency in SQL is necessary.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Experience with AWS serverless architecture is required.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, and Terraform is necessary.
• Experience with front-end development using JavaScript, React, Angular, etc., is required.
• A solid understanding of software development principles, architecture, and best practices is essential.
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team of software engineers is preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment is necessary.
• Experience in the financial services industry or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills are required for clear and effective communication with the team.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer is required to thrive in this role.
