The role involves working with back-end infrastructure written in Go and TypeScript, which handles rendering, screenshots, and diffs on customer Storybooks at scale.
Responsibilities include interacting with browsers in a Docker environment, developing algorithms for efficient container scaling based on variable workloads, and managing data flow between the web API and the capture system.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of real-world experience building back-end systems.
Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, and Node is required, with additional experience in other languages and back-end frameworks being a plus.
Experience with distributed computing tools such as Docker, Fargate, and RabbitMQ is necessary.
Excellent technical communication skills and a strong enthusiasm for documentation are essential.
A passion for testing and experience with test-driven development is required.
Candidates should have a knack for designing simple solutions to complex problems and a good intuition for scalable solutions.
Bonus points for experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and general AWS operations.
Additional bonus for experience with Visual Regression Testing and developing components in isolation, such as using Storybook.

The salary range for this position is US$155K - US$190K, along with equity options.
