Remote Senior Backend Engineer, Chat

Description:

• ClickUp is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for their Chat, Inbox, and Notifications team to enhance their all-in-one productivity platform.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in engineering performant and high-throughput systems, ideally using Node.js.
• Proficiency in writing high-quality code, preferably in TypeScript, is essential.
• A proven track record of building performant, high-throughput systems is necessary.
• Experience with no-sql databases at scale, ideally DynamoDB, is required.
• Familiarity with major cloud services, particularly AWS, is expected.
• Strong communication skills and empathy are important for this role.
• Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and have a history of delivering projects with minimal direction.
• A product-minded approach and a good intuition for user experience are essential.
