Description:

ClickUp is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for their Chat, Inbox, and Notifications team to enhance their all-in-one productivity platform.
The role involves building features and systems with a focus on detail and performance.
Candidates will own end-to-end development, from conception to production.
Engineers will create not only solutions but also tools to understand problems.
The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a world-class product.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in engineering performant and high-throughput systems, ideally using Node.js.
Proficiency in writing high-quality code, preferably in TypeScript, is essential.
A proven track record of building performant, high-throughput systems is necessary.
Experience with no-sql databases at scale, ideally DynamoDB, is required.
Familiarity with major cloud services, particularly AWS, is expected.
Strong communication skills and empathy are important for this role.
Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and have a history of delivering projects with minimal direction.
A product-minded approach and a good intuition for user experience are essential.
