Description:

ClickUp is seeking a driven software engineer to join their Docs team as a Senior Software Engineer.
The role involves designing and delivering scalable distributed shared services used by other engineering teams.
Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining API endpoints, services, and workers for new features on the roadmap.
The engineer will write efficient and concise SQL queries for app usage, reporting data metrics, and managing data integrity within databases.
The position requires identifying and troubleshooting errors and performance issues within the infrastructure.
Participation in designing and building systems for maximum performance, reliability, and scalability is expected.
The role involves close collaboration with frontend, quality assurance, and product teams.
The engineer should be able to conceptualize the various parts of the infrastructure and their interconnections.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience writing and maintaining APIs in a production-level environment, preferably with Node.js.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, is necessary.
Experience with AWS or another cloud service is required.
The candidate should be a strong self-starter, operationally-focused, and a problem-solver.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are essential.
Desirable qualifications include experience with large scale processing and designing real-time collaboration systems.
