Remote Senior Backend Engineer (Elixir)

Description:

• The Senior Backend Engineer position at Remote involves joining a team of 280 engineers across Frontend, Backend, SRE, and QA, organized into cross-functional development teams assigned to specific verticals.
• The role includes working on building tools, APIs, and integrations for one of Remote's products using Elixir and Phoenix for backend, Postgres for the database, React and Nextjs for frontend, and Gitlab for version control and CI/CD.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Backend Engineer, including building, shipping, and maintaining complex software projects.
• Proficiency in Postgres or a similar database, and experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Github, or Jenkins.
• Nice to have skills include Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Nextjs, and familiarity with frontend technologies like React, Vue, or Angular.
