The role of Senior Backend Engineer involves developing and expanding a sophisticated API layer for a real-time platform.
Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and optimization of APIs, migrating existing architecture to a modular approach, and ensuring high performance and resilience for real-time applications.
The engineer will collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of new APIs and architectures.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong experience in Node.js and other JavaScript-based backend frameworks.

Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems is necessary, along with familiarity with NoSQL databases.
Experience in optimizing database queries, schema design, and reducing database dependency is required.
