The role is for a Senior Software Engineer on the Encoder team, focusing on edge-deployed software primarily using Go and Rust.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software for edge-deployed systems, ensuring high-quality deliverables from conception to completion.
The engineer will work with high-quality video systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ML Engineers, to integrate AI modules.
The position also involves contributing to the overall architecture and design of the Iris Platform and staying updated with emerging trends and technologies.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Go and Rust programming languages is required.
Experience with embedded systems, robotics, and/or PTZ cameras is highly desirable.
Familiarity with React and TypeScript is necessary for understanding and occasionally contributing to frontend development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities are essential.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are needed to work effectively in a small, remote team.
