Description:
Cofactr is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain systems for automated supply chain management and warehouse logistics of electronic components.
The role involves collaborating to design flexible internal workflow architecture for various customer use-cases.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and owning new product functionality using modern frameworks and tooling.
The position requires planning and leading projects based on stakeholder inputs, making technical decisions, and interacting with customer-facing teammates.
The engineer will contribute to defining Cofactr's culture as the company grows.
Projects include creating customer data workflows, internal warehouse logistics workflows, and vendor integrations with other SaaS and custom customer workflows.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience building and scaling platforms with modern stacks and frameworks like Python/Django/Postgres.
Proficiency in building RESTful APIs, with bonus experience in GraphQL.
Familiarity with web hook frameworks, Server Sent Events framework, or other real-time strategy architecture.
Experience in logistics/inventory/ERP applications is a plus.
Comfortable leading projects from start to finish, including gathering requirements, managing communications, scoping, scheduling, and executing QA plans.
Ability to work in self-directed and collaborative environments, solve problems creatively, and adapt to shifting priorities.
Must have a learning mindset and be open to growth opportunities.
