As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will develop highly scalable systems and algorithms to simplify healthcare operations.
You will deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable code while designing and implementing resilient backend systems.
The role involves architecting solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, RDS, and ECS.
You will stay updated on modern security design principles and implement preventive measures across cloud architectures.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science (BS, MS, or PhD) or equivalent work experience with at least 8 years in software engineering is required.
You must have 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, primarily working with Python.
Proven expertise in Amazon Web Services, including designing and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS tools like Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB is necessary.
Experience with frameworks such as Django, Django Rest Framework, and database systems like MySQL/PostgreSQL is strongly desired.
Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS, and full-stack development skills in TypeScript and React are also strongly desired.
Hands-on experience with AWS architectures, such as microservices or serverless patterns, is preferred.
Familiarity with NoSQL document databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB is a plus.
Experience with telephony platforms (e.g., Twilio) or chat systems (e.g., WebSocket-based services) is beneficial.
A keen interest in ChatGPT, LLMs, and other GenAI technologies is advantageous.
Experience in healthcare tech, including Smart on FHIR, CDS, and EHR integrations, is a plus.
Prior work experience in enterprise SaaS companies is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $155,000 to $190,000, considering location, skills, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.
