Remote Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will develop highly scalable systems and algorithms to simplify healthcare operations.
Key responsibilities include writing high-quality and secure code, designing reliable backend systems for healthcare, staying updated on security design principles, learning new technologies, and collaborating with team members.

A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience of at least 8 years is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer with a focus on Python.
Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services is necessary.
It is strongly desired to have experience with Django, Django Rest Framework, MySQL, or Kubernetes.
Fullstack experience, particularly with Typescript and React, is a plus.
A strong interest in ChatGPT, LLMs, and other GenAI technologies is preferred.
Experience in healthcare tech, especially with Smart on FHIR, CDS, and EHR integrations, is advantageous.
Prior experience working for an enterprise SaaS company is also a plus.

The salary range for this position is between $155,000 and $190,000, with compensation determined by location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
