Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Grafana IRM (Remote, Sweden)

Description:

• This is a remote opportunity for a Senior Backend Engineer position at Grafana IRM, specifically for candidates in EMEA time zones.
• The team is responsible for IRM solutions that facilitate incident detection, response, and learning with minimal effort, including OnCall Cloud, Incident Cloud, and an IRM mobile application.
• The role involves coding new features, enhancing operational experiences, contributing to design documents, shaping the team’s roadmap, collaborating with various teams, and participating in on-call rotations.
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a remote-first environment, enjoy teamwork, and have solid experience in building full stack applications, particularly with Golang or Python and React.
• Candidates should be able to transform ideas into working code, care about user experience and product quality, and value code maintainability and testing.
• Experience with cloud software development or systems engineering is required, along with an understanding of the implications of technical decisions.
• Clear communication in English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have solid experience as a Software Engineer building full stack applications.
• Proficiency in either Golang or Python and familiarity with React is required.
• Experience in developing software that runs in the Cloud or systems engineering is necessary.
• Candidates should be able to design solutions, get feedback, and write prototypes independently.
• A strong emphasis on user experience, product quality, and code maintainability is expected.
• Candidates should enjoy working on complex solutions and be part of the community, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
