Remote Senior Backend Engineer, Hierarchy

Description:

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• Applicants should have 5+ years of experience in creating and maintaining a production environment.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or other popular programming languages is necessary.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, is required.
• Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Node.js, Nest.js, Express.js, and TypeScript, as well as experience with workflows or event-driven automations in consumer or enterprise companies.
• Knowledge of building high-scale systems with millions of events processing in an hour, and familiarity with Redis, Kafka, Docker, and running a platform on AWS is also preferred.
