Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Integrations

Description:

• The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for advancing and creating new integrations for Vitally's growing platform.
• The role will focus on working with the Core group to help the platform scale as more customers are acquired.
• Tasks may include working on automation redesign, scaling architecture, debugging and optimizing API endpoints, designing frameworks for integrations, and collaborating with the product team to build new features.
• Vitally is a Customer Success platform designed for strategic and proactive CS teams to prevent churn and retain their best customers.
• The platform offers powerful analytics dashboards, intuitive automations, and project management tools to make customer data collaborative, measurable, and actionable for all stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong engineering background are required.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly Postgres, to write performant queries and optimize indexes.
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns of high-scalability distributed systems.
• Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages.
• Experience managing, migrating, and deploying AWS infrastructure for highly performant and scalable applications.
• Experience in evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology.
• Familiarity with Node and Typescript is a plus.
• Experience with SRE responsibilities, configuring, and securing AWS environments is advantageous.
