Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Java

Description:

• Join Sinch as a Senior Backend Engineer to contribute to the design and development of robust backend systems using Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and enhance development processes.
• Work in the Registrations team to optimize response time and client investment when registering new senderIDs in various markets.
• Focus on requested capabilities, features, validation processes, and lifecycle management to expedite client utilization and profitability.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, emphasizing Java development (Kotlin knowledge is a plus).
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and building scalable backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java frameworks, libraries, and RESTful APIs development.
• Sound understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus), and messaging systems like Kafka.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Flux, Terraform), critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
