Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Logistics

Description:

• We are looking for Senior Backend Engineers - Golang to join the Technology hub of a retail company with over 100 years in the Argentine market.
• In recent years, the company has hired over 110 people focusing on their core products, which include Marketplace, E-Commerce/Retail, Logistics, Fintech, and Branches.
• The strategic goal of the area is to enhance and accelerate the business, consolidating its leadership in the industry through simple, innovative, scalable, and impactful technological products.
• The company aims to expand its business model as a Technology and Services company and implement products in other companies that can acquire, leverage, and accelerate their businesses using their solutions/platforms.
• Currently, they are working on a new project involving the design and architecture of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) that will have several phases, starting with the stores across the country to improve delivery experiences and overall customer experience, and later impacting distribution centers.
• This is a highly ambitious project, and the team being assembled for this is completely new.
• The Senior Backend Engineer - Golang will need to have solid experience in Go, as well as experience in migrating monoliths to microservices, and creating microservices from scratch.
• Experience in the logistics area will be a relevant plus.
• The hiring is directly with the company, not through a consultancy, and they offer employment relationship, in Argentine pesos (with annual bonuses + benefits!).
• This position is open only in the Republic of Argentina, and the day-to-day work will be remote.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have solid experience in Go programming language.
• Experience in migrating monoliths to microservices is required.
• Candidates should have experience in creating microservices from scratch.
• Having experience in the logistics area is considered a relevant plus.
• The position is open only to candidates located in the Republic of Argentina.
