Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Madrid

Description:

• The Senior Backend Engineer will be part of the team managing the analytics & event platform stack at Aircall.
• Responsibilities include participating in requirements analysis, designing key modules, writing clean scalable code, and deploying applications and systems.
• The engineer will be involved in product and platform performance optimization, live site monitoring, and mentoring team members.
• The role focuses on delivering high-quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients using Typescript-based back-end stacks hosted on AWS.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end development in a large-scale system, preferably with NodeJS/NestJS/other Typescript stack.
• Extensive experience working with AWS services like Lambda, Appsync, DynamoDB, Aurora, etc., in a production environment.
• Knowledge of REST API and GraphQL.
• Proficiency in observability tools like Datadog, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, New Relic, etc.
• Experience with OLTP databases like Postgres, MySQL, etc.
• Strong focus on security in all aspects of development.
