Description:

• As a Senior Backend Engineer at Baubap, you will be part of the Microloan product team, focusing on enhancing the existing financial product to provide microloans efficiently to customers in need.
• Your role involves architecting, developing, and optimizing the backend infrastructure to ensure seamless functionality, scalability, and a great user experience.
• You will contribute to increasing disbursement and repayment rates, aligning with the company's mission of offering accessible financial products for wealth creation.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing analytics tools, and maintaining system performance and security.
• Day-to-day tasks involve working closely with other team members, designing robust backend solutions, and analyzing user feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of backend development experience with a strong understanding of SOLID principles and data storage technologies like MySQL.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, along with API design and RESTful principles.
• Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Soft skills like problem-solving, communication, teamwork, mentoring, and proactive work approach are essential.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
