Remote Senior Backend Engineer (Microservice Optimization)

Description:

• The Senior Backend Engineer will focus on optimizing the microservice architecture of the company.
• The main project involves transitioning the core platform from on-premise to the cloud.
• The platform manages inbound jobs based on file delivery, routes them through a job engine across departments, and returns completed work to customers.
• Responsibilities include optimizing and managing microservice architecture, implementing Azure cloud solutions, developing .Net Core applications, managing Kubernetes clusters, integrating file management systems, handling large files efficiently, ensuring scalability and performance optimization, managing heavy transaction applications, working with message brokers, and implementing MediatR and CQRS patterns.

Requirements:

• Expertise in microservice architecture is required.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services is necessary.
• Advanced knowledge of .Net Core (2.0/3.0) is essential.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a must.
• A strong background in file management integrations is needed.
• Ability to work with large files and optimize performance is required.
• Skills in performance optimization and scalability are necessary.
• Experience in managing heavy transaction applications is essential.
• Familiarity with at least one message broker (Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or MassTransit) is required.
• Experience with MediatR and CQRS is necessary.
