VeliTech is a product company focused on technology and continuous learning, serving over 35 million users with iGaming products.
The company is seeking a Senior BackEnd Engineer to join the VeliEDGE product team, which is a client engagement and marketing automation tool.
The role involves implementing new features, building and maintaining company products, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities include conducting periodic code reviews and optimizations, exploring new ideas and solutions, and striving for high standards and constant improvement.
The tech stack includes Node.JS, PHP 8, Laravel, React.JS, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS, Grafana, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Redis.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in NodeJs is required.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design and scalability, specifically PostgreSQL and Clickhouse, is necessary.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Kafka is essential.
Knowledge of architectural and design patterns is required.
Experience with high-load systems is necessary.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix-based operating systems and command-line interface experience is required.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is necessary.
Experience with unit testing is required.
A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns is necessary.
A product-oriented mindset is essential.
Strong proficiency in PHP 7+ and Laravel is a plus.
Understanding of system design approaches such as DDD, CQRS, and MA is advantageous.
Proficiency in English and excellent problem-solving skills are preferred.
