Description:

• Deel is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js to join their team in Sao Paulo.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Expert knowledge of Node.js and at least one other server-side language is required.
• Proficiency in JavaScript syntax is necessary.
• Candidates should be knowledgeable in SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and ORM libraries like Sequelize.
• A firm understanding of AWS services such as S3, EKS, SNS, and SQS is essential; knowledge of GCP or Azure is a plus.
• The candidate should excel in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are required.
