Description:
Siena is building enterprise empathic AI Agents powered by reasoning-adept LLMs, designed to integrate with existing systems and interact with customers across multiple channels from a single, unified platform.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will own projects end to end, taking over new and existing product features.
You will contribute ideas and constructive feedback to the product's development from the roadmap to architecture.
You will collaborate closely with the Product team to slice and dice scope and deliver piece by piece.
Your primary focus will be on building products, spending 80% of your time on developing new software products or improving existing features.
You will have the opportunity to mentor and lead other team members about 20% of your time if you have an interest in it.
You will be responsible for problem-solving, unblocking yourself and other team members when they encounter roadblocks.
Requirements:
You must have previous experience working on the backend for at least 4 years, ideally with NodeJS, Typescript, and Express.
Familiarity with the AWS cloud system, including EKS, ECS, and Fargate, is required.
Experience working with Postgres or a similar database is necessary.
You should have experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Github, Jenkins, or similar.
A product-focused mindset is essential, with the ability to build microservices products by understanding the business and customers.
You should possess strong microservices architecture skills but maintain a humble approach.
