The promotional features team is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in Node.js.
This role focuses on developing and optimizing promotional features for gaming platforms, emphasizing performance, scalability, and cutting-edge solutions.
The ideal candidate should be product-passionate, keen on solving deep tech engineering problems, and possess a fast "PoC first" approach with a deep sense of ownership.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust backend systems, optimizing existing systems, leading technical decisions, collaborating with distributed teams, ensuring code and architectural excellence, and addressing complex technical challenges.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Strong development experience in Node.js/TypeScript for 5+ years is necessary.
A strong understanding of Async approaches is essential.
Experience with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ is required.
Experience in distributed systems is necessary.
Proficiency with RDBMs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), CDBMs (Redshift, ClickHouse, etc.), and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.) is required.
Experience in writing end-to-end and unit tests is necessary.
Experience in developing production-ready solutions is required.
Understanding of enterprise development patterns would be beneficial.
Experience with large-scale microservices architecture is advantageous.
Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.) is beneficial.
Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
Active performance observation skills are beneficial.
Gambling domain experience is a plus.
Understanding of application security and industry standards, along with best practices, is beneficial.
