Description:

  • The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for developing product features and collaborating with colleagues in design, product, and engineering.
  • They will work with cutting-edge technologies, focusing on tech stacks such as NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, .Net ReactJS, React Native, and AWS.
  • The role involves working on a diverse range of products and features within the eBenefits & Fintech Team.
  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining both frontend and backend components of web applications, translating design wireframes into functioning UI components, and ensuring high-quality code through testing and code reviews.
  • The Senior Backend Engineer will also share knowledge, mentor other Software Engineers, and enhance legacy features for the HR tech platform.

Requirements:

  • Over 6 years of experience in Software Development, with a focus on Server-side and RESTful API Development using NodeJS.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing, maintaining, and deploying full-stack web technologies.
  • Strong skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and translating design wireframes into functioning UI components.
  • Proficiency in standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agile methodology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, mentor team members, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience with mentoring team mates, leading an Engineering squad, and frontend software development with ReactJS and/or React Native is a plus.
