They are expanding into financial services to enable users to pay, save, and borrow digitally, aiming to usher the continent into a digital economy era.
The role involves working in an international engineering team, focusing on complex backend development using Node.js, microservices architecture, and large-scale backend systems.
Responsibilities include building robust and scalable software, designing system architecture, improving code quality, participating in brainstorming sessions, and delivering results on schedule.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong OOP and software design knowledge.
Proficiency in Node.js, MongoDB, Express.js, Restful APIs, microservices, and GIT.
Nice to have skills include Docker, Kubernetes, Redis server, and experience in mobility, on-demand, or fintech sectors.
Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Highly organized, creative, critical thinker comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment.
BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
