• As a Senior Backend Engineer (NodeJS), you will be part of an international engineering team, working with a high-quality code base and the latest tools.
• You will be responsible for building large-scale backend systems and micro-services, designing and developing powerful server-side applications.
• The role requires root cause analysis and rapid problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
• You will participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute ideas to technology and products, and work with engineering and design teams to translate end-user requirements into effective technical solutions.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design is essential.
• Must have technical skills in Node.js, MongoDB or other databases, Express.js or other frameworks, REST and RESTful APIs, and micro-services.
• Mastery of source version control using GIT is required.
• Nice to have technical skills include experience with Docker, Kubernetes, caching with Redis server, and familiarity with the mobility, on-demand, or fintech space.
• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to prioritize, self-start, and contribute under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
• Highly organized, creative, and critical thinking skills are necessary.
• A BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field is required.
