Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Observability, Kubernetes Monitoring (Remote, US/Canada)

Description:

• The Senior Backend Engineer position focuses on working with Grafana Cloud, an observability platform integrating metrics, logs, and traces with Grafana, allowing customers to utilize open-source observability software without the burden of managing their own stack.
• The role involves improving the Kubernetes monitoring product within the Observability department, collaborating with Product, UX, and Frontend engineers to enhance user experiences.
• Responsibilities include influencing the roadmap, driving projects from ideation to production, contributing to open-source projects, designing critical systems, and supporting team members.
• Technologies used include PromQL, Typescript, and Helm, with familiarity in Go and Jsonnet being advantageous.
• The position is remote, requiring communication skills, collaborative work ethic, user-centered software development approach, ability to troubleshoot web application issues, and experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and Prometheus.
