Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Paris

Description:

• Aircall is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the engineering department and work on managing the analytics & event platform stack.
• The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and operating business-critical features that enhance customer value on top of Voice.
• Responsibilities include participating in requirements analysis, contributing to design and architecture, writing clean scalable code, and testing and deploying applications.
• The position requires involvement in product and platform performance optimization, live site monitoring, and mentoring team members.
• The backend engineer will work with Typescript-based back-end stacks hosted on AWS to build resilient services integrated with customers' critical tools.
• This is a remote position based in Paris.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end development in a large-scale system, preferably with NodeJS/NestJS or other Typescript stacks, focusing on security, scalability, availability, and performance.
• Extensive experience working with AWS services such as Lambda, Appsync, DynamoDB, and Aurora in a production environment.
• Proficiency in REST API and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Experience with OLTP databases like Postgres and MySQL.
• Strong emphasis on security in all aspects of work.
