Blue Coding is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing tech company focused on portfolio management in mortgage trading and asset management.
The position is fully remote, allowing candidates from Latin America to work from anywhere as long as they can deliver high-quality work.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the client's platform using TypeScript and Node.js.
Responsibilities include building and consuming RESTful APIs, designing clear API endpoints, integrating with third-party APIs, and working with Docker and PostgreSQL databases.
The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features and participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience with PostgreSQL and Sequelize is required.
Familiarity with Docker is necessary.
Testing experience with Playwright is preferred.
Knowledge or experience with AWS is a plus.
Strong communication, client services, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Experience or knowledge in credit, mortgages, trading platforms, or similar environments is advantageous.
Candidates should be independent, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.
