Description:

• Vitesse PSP, an emerging leader in the UK FinTech industry, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team in Poland.
• The company recently closed a $92m Series-C funding round and aims to double its revenue in the next three to four years.
• Vitesse operates one of the largest domestic banking and payment networks globally, supporting over 60 currencies and more than 100 countries.
• The role involves developing new product solutions and features within a modern product squad using C#, ASP.net MVC, .Net Framework, and Core.
• The engineer will contribute to the migration from a monolithic architecture to a microservices architecture based on .Net Core.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, delivering high-quality solutions, staying updated on industry trends, and operating independently within a squad environment.
• The position requires strong proficiency in C#, .Net Core and Framework, experience with ASP.net MVC, and front-end experience with React and ideally Typescript.
• Professional experience in a distributed microservice architecture, Agile methods, SOLID principles, and security best practices is essential.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency with C#, .Net Core, and Framework.
• Experience with ASP.net MVC.
• Front-end experience with React and ideally Typescript beneficial.
• Professional experience in a distributed microservice architecture using asynchronous event-driven communications, DDD, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent with Agile methods and collaborative working practices.
• Good understanding of SOLID principles, service-oriented architecture, and security best practices in software development.
• Confident in both oral and written communication.
