Description:
Aircall is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their remote EMEA team.
The role involves the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features that enhance customer value on top of voice technology.
Responsibilities include participating in requirements analysis, designing and delivering key modules, writing clean scalable code, and debugging existing code.
The engineer will be part of an organization focused on delivering high-quality, secure voice solutions and will be involved in product and platform performance optimization.
Participation in an on-call rotation to address critical system issues is required.
Mentoring team members is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 6+ years of experience in back-end development using a large-scale, typed language, with a focus on Typescript.
Extensive experience with AWS in a production environment is required, along with the ability to design and deploy effectively on AWS.
Candidates should be knowledgeable about AWS offerings and able to explain them to junior engineers.
Experience with serverless services and infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform is necessary.
A strong focus on security in all aspects of development is essential.
Experience with GraphQL is considered a significant plus.
