The role of Senior Backend Engineer involves scaling and connecting millions of devices to wireless networks.
Responsibilities include architecting optimal solutions to business problems, deploying new features, scaling to tens of millions of customers and connected devices, building quality tools and frameworks, and ensuring continuous uptime.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience (8+ years) in building enterprise-ready platforms that handle high transactional volumes and support production environments.
Strong knowledge of Java 8 (onwards), Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud is required.
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL concepts.
Hands-on API design experience is necessary.
Experience with microservices architecture using Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes is required.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with event sourcing and CQRS.
A self-starter attitude and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
Experience with scaling high-traffic applications is required.
Knowledge of nonfunctional conformance aspects such as security, reliability, and high availability is necessary.

Experience with Google Cloud and services like GKE, Apache Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Pub-Sub is a plus.
Familiarity with other JVM languages like Kotlin and Scala, as well as knowledge of Python, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is beneficial.
Experience in Domain-Driven Design and Event Storming techniques is advantageous.
Understanding of Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles is preferred.
Prior startup experience is a plus, but being scrappy is essential for success.
