Remote Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

Description:

• Gladia is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to join their team in Paris, working on a cutting-edge audio AI infrastructure.
• The role involves creating, developing, and maintaining the entire back-end technical stack.
• Responsibilities include API component design and development, building new product features from conception to maintenance, resolving technical problems, and improving performance, reliability, and observability of the product.
• The engineer will work with a technical stack that includes Python (FastAPI, Gunicorn), Triton Server, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• The position requires at least 6 years of experience in a rapidly growing product environment, with a strong focus on Python and CI/CD processes.
• Candidates should have knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ, and be familiar with testing tools.
• The ideal candidate is proactive, agile, autonomous, and has a collaborative problem-solving approach.
• The role allows for remote work with regular team meetings in Paris.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in a product experiencing rapid growth, with well-crafted and well-tested work for scale.
• A solid experience in Python is required.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, specifically GitHub Actions, is necessary.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ is essential.
• Candidates should be experienced with testing tools across various environments.
• A strong interest in clean code, software craftsmanship, performance, scalability, and security is expected.
• Candidates should be proactive, agile, autonomous, tenacious, pragmatic, benevolent, and curious.
• Willingness to work remotely with regular trips to meet the team is required.
