Remote Senior Backend Engineer (Remote in Spain possible)

Description:

• As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for modernizing the core application and developing new features for translators, customers, and internal experts.
• You will collaborate with experienced engineering teams to bring new products and services to life using a cloud-native tech stack.
• Your focus will be on implementing new backend functionality, sometimes involving frontend work as well.
• You will work within the Core Platform tribe, closely collaborating with other teams in a distributed and international setup.
• The Core Platform team handles the customer and translator portal, translation workflow orchestration engine, internal API, and more, utilizing technologies like .NET Core and Kubernetes/VMSS in Azure.
• You will report to the Team Lead and work closely with the Director of Core Platform.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with C#, .Net Core, relational databases, and web APIs.
• Passion for software craftsmanship and continuous growth of technical skills.
• Agile mindset focused on outcome over output.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiarity with .NET, even if most experience is with a different stack.
• Experience with containerized microservices in a cloud-native setting.
• Proficiency with SQL Server.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript and/or Typescript in a frontend context.
• Experience with common frontend frameworks like jQuery, Vue, or React.
