Description:
The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for writing clear and well-tested code that delivers real business value.
They will be involved in creating APIs useful for developers internally and externally.
Working with the core team, they will deliver quality code-based solutions and contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and processes.
The engineer will take ownership of product decisions, help with work planning and prioritizing, and be part of incident solving.
The role involves building distributed systems, understanding modern software design principles, and good code design.
Experience with PHP (Symfony, Slim) or Golang, system design patterns, Relational DB, NoSQL, Git, and Jira is required.
Bonus points for knowledge of both PHP and Golang.
Tools used include PHP 8, Golang, MySQL, DynamoDB, ES DB, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS, EventBridge, Docker, Terraform, Git, Jira, Grafana, CloudWatch, Sentry, and AWS services.
The position offers a gross salary range of 22800 - 32900 PLN/Month.
Requirements:
At least 7+ years of experience in web development.
3+ years of experience working with PHP and its frameworks (Symfony, Slim) or Golang.
Understanding of modern software design principles & good code design.
Experience in building distributed systems.
Be acquainted with system design patterns.
Good Relational DB and NoSQL knowledge.
Familiarity with Git & Jira.
