Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Rust

Description:

• Design and build a robust marketing platform to target the right audience at any time
• Create high volume services that are reliable at scale
• Develop big data solutions using open source frameworks
• Collaborate with Product and Project Leads to explain complex technical issues
• Optimize and enhance existing products
• Utilize MNTN technology to push the limits of application development
• Handle over hundreds of millions of requests per day with microservices
• Build a platform for real-time behavioral marketing in cross-device advertising
• Utilize open source technology and in-house solutions for low latency demands

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Rust development experience
• 2+ years of SQL query writing and database table design experience
• Preferably experience with Kotlin and Python
• Knowledge of modern design patterns
• Familiarity with Microservice style architecture
• Experience with Cloud hosting solutions like K8, Istio, etc.
• Proficiency in using GIT
• Understanding of HTTP lifecycle
• Knowledge of DRY, BDD, and writing effective unit & functional test cases
• Comfortable in a Linux/UNIX environment
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure
• Preferably familiar with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Dynamodb, Redis
