Remote Senior Backend Engineer (Rust) - Valantis

Description:

• Valantis Labs is looking for a mid to senior-level Backend Engineer proficient in Rust to join their team.
• The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance API infrastructure and Solver-related scripts/modules that interact with Valantis pools.
• They will also build and maintain off-chain SDKs and infrastructure for user-facing interactions with Valantis Pools and Modules.
• Collaboration on external partner integrations, including integrating with new Solver networks and front-ends to make Valantis pools discoverable for swaps and Market Makers.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in building scalable DeFi or MEV trading systems in Rust and leading teams in this context.

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of backend development experience, focusing on building scalable systems in Rust.
• Proven experience in DeFi or running MEV strategies in production or related blockchain projects.
• Strong understanding of API design and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps to handle backend deployments on the cloud.
• Excitement about understanding the unique architecture of the Valantis Protocol and solving impactful problems in DeFi.
• Availability to work in US and EU time zones.
