Description:

Career Renew is recruiting for a Senior Backend Engineer (Solana) for one of its clients, which is a fully remote role, but candidates must be based in EMEA timezones.
The Senior Backend Engineer will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the backend systems that power the platform.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with the Solana ecosystem, strong backend development skills with TypeScript, and a passion for blockchain technology.
The position will report to the Backend Lead.
The current tech stack includes Node.js running TypeScript code in Docker containers, MongoDB and Redis for data management, ethers.js for communication with EVM blockchains, and tools like Github, Kubernetes, AWS, and CloudFlare for the GitOps CD chain.
Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and maintenance of Solana-focused backend systems and APIs, architecting scalable solutions, maintaining high coding standards, optimizing code for performance, implementing monitoring tools, developing comprehensive test suites, mentoring junior developers, analyzing technical problems, and documenting processes.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong experience with the Solana ecosystem and backend development in TypeScript.
A proven ability to design, build, and optimize scalable backend systems, including APIs and smart contract interactions, is required.
A deep understanding of testing frameworks, debugging, and performance tuning for high-availability systems is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, mentor junior developers, and communicate effectively are necessary.
Candidates must be located in the EMEA region.
