Description:

  • The Senior Backend Engineer will be part of the Talent Operations team at WorkMotion, contributing to the company's growth story.
  • The Talent Operations team focuses on providing fast, seamless, and robust solutions for global talent hiring, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall operations.
  • The role involves developing code and tests for application features and functions, implementing and maintaining talent management features, and delivering high-quality software.
  • Responsibilities include following DevOps best practices, contributing to requirement analysis and design decisions, conducting code reviews, modifying existing applications, and troubleshooting testing failures.
  • The tech stack includes Java 17, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Github, JIRA, Confluence, and more.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 6 years of proven experience in Java development.
  • A solid understanding and experience in designing and building complex architectures is required.
  • Experience in system design and working with the Spring Boot framework is essential.
  • Familiarity with Test-driven development and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience building RESTful APIs and integrating applications and features.
  • Experience with AWS and familiarity with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or KANBAN is preferred.
  • DevOps experience, including Docker and Kubernetes, is a significant plus.
  • Strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
