ClickUp is seeking talented engineers to help build their flagship product, Tasks, which involves owning the APIs that form the backbone of ClickUp.
Responsibilities include building features and systems with attention to detail and performance, owning end-to-end development from conception to production, and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a world-class product.
The role also involves identifying and implementing improvements to existing systems and helping to establish a fun, fulfilling, world-class engineering culture.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent major is required.
Candidates should have 8+ years of experience engineering performant and high-throughput systems, ideally using Node.js.
High-quality code writing skills, preferably in TypeScript, are essential.
A proven track record of building performant, high-throughput systems is necessary.
Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries at scale is required.
Candidates should have experience developing event-based systems and familiarity with major cloud services, ideally AWS.
Strong communication skills and empathy are important for this role.
Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and have a history of delivering projects with little direction.
A product-minded approach and good intuition regarding user experience are also required.
