ClickUp is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for their User Platform team in Poland.
The role involves building one of the most critical and highly used products in ClickUp.
Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
Responsibilities include building a scalable and highly available platform that processes millions of customer workflows daily and maintaining it across all regions and data centers.
The engineer will collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to establish product requirements, define scope, and assess business impact.
The role requires contributing to the design and construction of systems that prioritize performance, reliability, and scalability.
Understanding the intricate workings of the infrastructure and how all components interact is essential.
The engineer will work alongside fellow engineers to deliver sophisticated backend features outlined in the roadmap.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team player are required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience is necessary.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in creating and maintaining a production environment is required.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js is essential.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, is required.
