Description:

Algolia is a fast-growing company that provides a search API used by thousands of customers globally, powering 1.5 trillion searches a year.
The Dashboard Platform team aims to empower developers at Algolia to ship frontend features to the customer-facing Dashboard, focusing on a great and consistent customer experience at scale.
Responsibilities include working on core features of the Algolia Dashboard, building new services for infrastructure platform deployment using Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS, and enhancing Developer Experience through tooling and guidelines.
The role requires significant experience in a similar position, with autonomy in leading projects and planning for the company's global best interests.
The team consists of two senior software engineers and one manager, all dedicated to improving the user experience.
The position is open to remote work, with a preference for candidates who have experience in high-growth environments.

Requirements:

Candidates should have good knowledge of modern infrastructure management tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform on AWS.
Proficiency in modern web development technologies including Javascript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is required.
A strong commitment to high code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate a genuine care for Developer Experience and possess well-spoken and written English skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in companies with over 10,000 customers and in the $50-200M ARR range.
Experience with Go and Ruby on Rails is considered a nice-to-have.
