Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer (India)

• Engineers will build features and maintain back-end services using Go (GoLang) microservices while collaborating with other teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with back-end languages such as Go, Java, Ruby, Python, or C#, with Go being a major plus.
• Experience in building Data Platforms and Products at scale is required.
• Willingness to learn Go and participate in an on-call rotation with the team is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience working with distributed systems and inter-service communication protocols and APIs, including ReST, protobufs/gRPC, Kafka, and NSQ.
• Experience in building streaming applications on Kafka Streams/Flink is required.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases and SQL is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to develop and review design, functional, technical, and/or user documentation as needed.
• Contribution to the design, implementation, and architecture of new or re-engineered software is expected.
• Development, testing, and integration of code for new or existing software of significant complexity is required.
