Description:
- Design, prototype, and implement systems to manage features via CRUD operations for the Data-Warehouse and a new platform
- Collaborate with teams to ensure new services interface well with existing platform services
- Work with platform teams to accurately represent and display insights in the platform
- Participate in holding reviews and discussions on system designs and implementations
- Contribute to building tools, frameworks, and processes to report on the quality of Canva's features
- Develop backend services to manage product definitions and connect them to the Data-Warehouse for platform insights in a new UI
Requirements:
- Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals including concurrency, multithreading, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns
- Experience in designing, building, and running high-performance Java backend systems
- Ability to collaborate with team members and gather requirements across different teams and specialties
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Background in data analytics and/or product measurements is a plus
- Familiarity with data-ecosystem tools like data warehousing
- Experience in full-stack development is advantageous
