Description:
Wellhub, formerly Gympass, is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Professional Services team in Brazil.
The role involves collaborating with the product manager to shape the new Wellhub integration product architecture, focusing on process automation and delivering bespoke reports.
The engineer will work on an internal migration project, integrating over 90 connectors into a new programming environment.
Responsibilities include serving as a technical reference for building robust APIs and integrations, mentoring team members, engaging in client-facing activities, creating detailed reports, overseeing data manipulation, and ensuring task tracking and documentation.
The position also involves identifying and implementing business and process improvement opportunities, monitoring business metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience as a Senior in backend development and database management.
Expertise in version control (GIT) and proficiency in Clean Code and development best practices.
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
Extensive experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
Proficiency in working with AWS cloud services, containers, and serverless architectures.
Experienced in creating and maintaining high-traffic APIs and monitoring tools like Bulldog and Grafana.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced Excel knowledge.
Advanced/Fluent English proficiency both written and spoken.
Client-facing skills with a proven track record of effectively managing client relationships.
Previous involvement in international projects.
