Description:

  • Wellhub, formerly Gympass, is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Professional Services team in Brazil.
  • The role involves collaborating with the product manager to shape the new Wellhub integration product architecture, focusing on process automation and delivering bespoke reports.
  • The engineer will work on an internal migration project, integrating over 90 connectors into a new programming environment.
  • Responsibilities include serving as a technical reference for building robust APIs and integrations, mentoring team members, engaging in client-facing activities, creating detailed reports, overseeing data manipulation, and ensuring task tracking and documentation.
  • The position also involves identifying and implementing business and process improvement opportunities, monitoring business metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a Senior in backend development and database management.
  • Expertise in version control (GIT) and proficiency in Clean Code and development best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
  • Extensive experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in working with AWS cloud services, containers, and serverless architectures.
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining high-traffic APIs and monitoring tools like Bulldog and Grafana.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Advanced/Fluent English proficiency both written and spoken.
  • Client-facing skills with a proven track record of effectively managing client relationships.
  • Previous involvement in international projects.
