Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer (Python)

Description:

• Collaborate with a remote team to enhance the data reporting platform tailored for CTV/OTT at tvScientific.
• Develop efficient features, APIs, and systems that adhere to industry standards and work seamlessly across various browsers and platforms.
• Take ownership of delivering new features to the production environment.
• Engage with internal and external teams to deliver a user-friendly product.
• Contribute code within a fast-paced, agile environment with a continuous deployment approach.
• Prioritize efficiency and effective use of developer time in a remote-first company culture.
• Define success through story point burn downs, feature delivery, code quality, and on-time delivery metrics.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of production experience with Python.
• Production experience with MySQL/RDS.
• Familiarity with Python-based web frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Ability to write integration and unit tests.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Exceptional remote communication skills.
• Passion for crafting reliable web applications.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent.
