Description:
Teleport is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Server Access team, which focuses on secure access to SSH servers using short-lived credentials.
The role involves learning the SSH protocol and related protocols (such as SFTP) and various aspects of Linux (including PAM, BPF, auditd, cgroups) to ensure seamless access to SSH servers.
The position is remote and part of a small, agile team that values autonomy and impact.
The engineer will work on projects such as adding support for remote port forwarding, automatic discovery and enrollment of servers on Azure and GCP, headless login support, and agentless mode for OpenSSH nodes.
Teleport is an open-source project written in Golang with web-based UIs in JavaScript using React.

Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in Golang or Rust.
