Description:

Oppizi is seeking a motivated Senior Backend/DevOps Engineer to join their growing tech team, focusing on designing and maintaining scalable backend systems.
The role involves approximately 60% backend development, 30% DevOps, and 10% frontend tasks.
The team consists of 12 Software Engineers, 3 AQA Engineers, 6 MQA Engineers, a QA Lead, 2 UI/UX Designers, 3 Product Managers, a Head of Product, and a CTO.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Local Time).
Responsibilities include building and evolving backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and taking ownership of key technical decisions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript is required.
Solid experience with AWS and infrastructure frameworks is necessary.
Proficiency in REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets implementation is essential.
A strong understanding of microservices architecture and clean architecture principles is required.
Experience with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL is necessary.
Familiarity with Git version control systems is required.
An upper-intermediate or higher level of English is mandatory.
Candidates should have the ability to learn new tools and languages efficiently.
Nice-to-have requirements include experience with Redis and Python, familiarity with frontend development frameworks, and experience in documenting and explaining infrastructure and code design decisions.
