Description:
Employment Hero is seeking a Senior Backend/Fullstack Engineer with expertise in NodeJS to join their ambitious team focused on simplifying employment processes.
The role involves developing and maintaining both frontend and backend components of web applications using NodeJS, ReactJS, and React Native.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the product team, ensuring high-quality code through testing and code reviews, mentoring other Software Engineers, and enhancing legacy features for their HR tech platform.
The position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of products and features within the eBenefits & Fintech Team, contributing to the development of a SuperApp that includes new Fintech and Careers/Lifestyle products.
The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in Software Development, strong OOP skills, experience with RESTful API Development, and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
Additional skills such as experience with ReactJS, React Native, AWS, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science are beneficial but not essential.
Requirements:
Over 6 years of experience in Software Development, focusing on Server-side and RESTful API Development with NodeJS.
Proficiency in implementing, maintaining, and deploying full-stack web technologies.
Strong skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and translating design wireframes into functioning UI components.
Understanding of standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agile methodology.
Ability to mentor team mates, collaborate effectively, and work in a high performing and supportive environment.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to work with a global team.
