Remote Senior Backend/Fullstack Engineer (NodeJS)

Description:

• Employment Hero is seeking a Senior Backend/Fullstack Engineer with expertise in NodeJS to join their ambitious team focused on simplifying employment processes.
• The role involves developing and maintaining both frontend and backend components of web applications using NodeJS, ReactJS, and React Native.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with the product team, ensuring high-quality code through testing and code reviews, mentoring other Software Engineers, and enhancing legacy features for their HR tech platform.
• The position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of products and features within the eBenefits & Fintech Team, contributing to the development of a SuperApp that includes new Fintech and Careers/Lifestyle products.
• The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in Software Development, strong OOP skills, experience with RESTful API Development, and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
• Additional skills such as experience with ReactJS, React Native, AWS, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science are beneficial but not essential.

Requirements:

• Over 6 years of experience in Software Development, focusing on Server-side and RESTful API Development with NodeJS.
• Proficiency in implementing, maintaining, and deploying full-stack web technologies.
• Strong skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and translating design wireframes into functioning UI components.
• Understanding of standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agile methodology.
• Ability to mentor team mates, collaborate effectively, and work in a high performing and supportive environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to work with a global team.
